Simplest Smoothie EVER!

Image
Today I want to share the simplest smoothie recipe EVER! The only ingredients you'll need are almond milk and one banana! I throw that into my blender and had a super tasty smoothie seconds later! Especially when I'm in a rush I like to go for those kind of ''snacks'' to keep me energised when studying as I find it easier to concentrate if I have something to sip on next to me. I also find that this smoothie is quite long lasting which means that it stays fresh for about 10 hours and you can easily take it with you to Uni or Work! Another benefit is the fact that you don't have to spend a fortune on fresh food since bananas are relatively cheap everywhere. (correct me if I'm wrong- I haven't been everywhere but it's on my list!) What's your favourite smoothie recipe? I shared my other go to recipe on this blog as well! Check it out here: My Favourite Energy Smoothie! Thanks for reading! -J.

Nail Polish Favourites - Spring Edition!

Image
Today I thought I'd share some of my favourite Nail polishes with you since  they can really add that little bit of extra to any of your outfits! In spring I find myself reaching mostly for pastels but also for vibrant and bright colours that really pop out!  1) essence nude glam: 05 cafe ole I absolutely love this colour for almost all occasions therefore I've already used up a lot of bottles! One thing I really love about essence nail polishes is that even though this specific one is not quick dry, they do dry super quickly and also start to chip quite late for such a bargain!  2) essence the GEL NAIL polish: 37 serendipity This one is actually a gel nail polish, but if you don't own their gel nail kit like me, this nail polish applies just like a normal one would and dries just as quickly as well! Plus, I absolutely love the name!  3) essence Brit - Tea nail polish: Have a beau - tea - full day  Not gonna lie, I only bought this

Acne...

Today I want to share my experiences with Acne, since Tia asked me to do a post about skin care! I thought this would be interesting and helpful for quite a few of you, because I know that sometimes all you want to do is hide your face or slather a ton of make up on. Acne can actually have a huge impact on your self esteem but I want all of you out there who have to deal with it on a daily basis to know that you are not alone and that it does fade away- even if the situation looks hopeless. My Story... I've been dealing with Acne for quite a long time now. I remember it starting when I was about 10 years old. I would occasionally get a few spots on my forehead, nothing too tragic- if I look at it now. Back then all my friends had flawless skin and this really made me feel ugly and lowered my self esteem. 2 years later when I got my period, those occasional break outs worsened and happened more often. At this point I started wearing make up to cover up my pimples which
