January Playlist 2016




Today I decided to share my favourite songs I've been listening to this January which I absolutely love. Just to warn you, I got a weird taste in music! ;)

  • Love Yourself-Justin Bieber (Never really liked JB, was more of a 1D girl, but I really enjoy listening to his new album!)
  • Ex's and Oh's (Ohhhh my god this is by far my favourite this month!!!)
  • Sing-My Chemical Romance (My boyfriend put this on while we were driving home from Yorkshire and I loved it!)
  • Lightning Bold-Jake Bugg (This used to be my favourite a long time ago and I'm glad I re-discovered it!
  • Hold my hand-Jess Glynne (Since July, this song has been on every playlist of mine!)
  • Sugar-Maroon 5 (Also an 'old' favourite. It recently came on on the radio and now I'm really into it again!)
  • History-One Direction (Looove this one, it makes me smile and makes me want to jump around on a pub's table ;))
  • Hey Mama-David Guetta (This song instantly turns me into a little Badass and makes me want to be part of a super cool gang)

Hello Mermaids!🐟 Since it's getting warmer, my skin is recovering from the tolls winter ❄ has taken and it's breaking out less recently. Overall I'm quite happy with my skin at the moment, in most areas of my face it is acne-free. 👧 However, I do have quite a few acne scars on both of my cheeks and some on my skin due to hormonal break outs. They are fading, but dark spots are still visible. Nail Polish Favourites - Spring Edition!

Today I thought I'd share some of my favourite Nail polishes with you since  they can really add that little bit of extra to any of your outfits! In spring I find myself reaching mostly for pastels but also for vibrant and bright colours that really pop out!  1) essence nude glam: 05 cafe ole I absolutely love this colour for almost all occasions therefore I've already used up a lot of bottles! One thing I really love about essence nail polishes is that even though this specific one is not quick dry, they do dry super quickly and also start to chip quite late for such a bargain!  2) essence the GEL NAIL polish: 37 serendipity This one is actually a gel nail polish, but if you don't own their gel nail kit like me, this nail polish applies just like a normal one would and dries just as quickly as well! Plus, I absolutely love the name!  3) essence Brit - Tea nail polish: Have a beau - tea - full day  Not gonna lie, I only bought this

Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey! My Morning Routine.

In my opinion, how you spend your morning can have a huge impact on how the rest of your day is going. So I decided to transform a super popular video on youtube in a blog post! I'm not exactly a morning person and on weekends I love to stay in bed until midday, therefore I force myself to get up super early on week days, otherwise I feel like I'm unproductive and lazy. My alarm usually goes off at 5:45 am but I only ever manage to get out of bed at 6. Those extra 15 minutes in bed really help me to wake up though and are usually spent cuddling with my boyfriend or scrolling through social media if he hasn't woken up yet. Then I make my way downstairs to my kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I'm not very hungry that early in the morning, so most mornings I go for a casual cup of tea with some granola or a toast with some avocado mash- which I've especially been enjoying since it's getting warmer outside!
